Vintage adidas Trefoil blue mesh tank top (c. late 1970s)

A rare vintage adidas Trefoil mesh tank top in a rich royal blue colourway with contrast pale blue binding and iconic 3-Stripes detailing running down each side. Constructed from an open athletic mesh fabric, this lightweight vest was designed for training and captures the minimalist performance aesthetic adidas became known for during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Finished with a small white Trefoil chest logo, deep-cut armholes and a relaxed straight fit, it's an increasingly difficult piece to find today. Perfect layered over a sports bra, bikini or fitted tee, or worn on its own for an authentic vintage sportswear look.
