Adidas by Stella McCartney Team GB gold jersey mini shorts (c. 2012)

A rare pair of adidas by Stella McCartney jersey shorts created as part of the Team GB collection, finished in a muted metallic gold with tonal ribbed trims. Cut to an ultra-short, curved running silhouette, they feature a wide ribbed waistband, matching bound hems and an adjustable drawcord through antique-effect metal eyelets.

The soft jersey body has a subtle metallic finish that gives the gold colour a refined sheen rather than a high-shine appearance. Finished with a small Team GB Olympic emblem at the front and an adidas by Stella McCartney Team GB label at the reverse. The combination of sportswear construction, metallic fabrication and abbreviated proportions makes these a particularly distinctive piece from the collaboration.
