Vintage SS08 Adidas by Stella McCartney Peach Ruched Short Sleeve Jacket

Vintage Adidas by Stella McCartney Spring/Summer 2008 lightweight sports jacket in a soft peach pink colourway. A standout piece from the SS08 collection, combining technical sportswear fabrication with the feminine volume and detailing characteristic of Stella McCartney’s early work with Adidas.

Cut with short puffed sleeves, a high funnel neckline and full metal zip front. The body features extensive gathering and pleating across the front and back yoke, creating a loose, softly rounded silhouette. Finished with elasticated cuffs and hem, two front pockets and chunky woven drawcords threaded through metal eyelets at the collar.

The lightweight woven fabric has a subtle ripstop texture and naturally crinkled finish, contrasting with the almost blouse-like construction. The exaggerated ruching and sculpted proportions make this a particularly unusual piece of late 2000s Adidas sportswear and a great example of the more fashion-led designs from the Adidas by Stella McCartney SS08 collection.
